PRODUCTION
EDO Spa is a modern technological company, with the equipment organised in a 4.0 management process. The production efficiency is also ensured by the in-house electro-mechanical workshop, which carries out routine checks and acts promptly for unplanned operations Finally, it cooperates with the Research & Development department to adapt or create new technical functionalities.
The company prefers to select suppliers nearby the production plant. We choose raw materials from sustainable cultivation and farms that protect the territory, the environment and the workers. The company has successfully engaged plastic-free projects with FSC-certified paper-only materials.
The factory produces and stores ice cream using approximately 20 per cent of solar energy from the 7,000 square metres solar panels installed on the company’s roof. EDO Spa has successfully obtained the SMETA certification that protects the health, safety and rights of its workers.
